Who are Craftly classes for?
Craftly classes are designed specifically for older adults and are welcoming for all skill levels. Whether someone considers themselves a lifelong crafter or hasn't done a craft in years, our projects are designed to be approachable, enjoyable, and rewarding.
How many residents can participate?
Each Craftly class has a limit of 10 participants. Keeping classes small allows for a more personal, hands-on experience and gives everyone the opportunity to receive help when they need it.
Does Craftly provide the supplies?
Yes! All project materials and supplies are included in the class price. Craftly handles the preparation and brings everything needed for the project.
Who handles resident sign-up?
Your community does! Craftly provides the class and materials, while the community is responsible for promoting the class and managing resident registration.
What happens if fewer than 10 residents sign up?
That's okay! We don't want to disappoint those who have signed up and are excited to craft. Craftly classes are prices per scheduled class, not per resident. Your community's price remains the same whether 3 residents attend or all 10 spots are filled.
Can I book a one-time class?
Absolutely! One-time classes are a great way to introduce your residents to Craftly before committing to an ongoing series.
Do you offer recurring programs?
Yes! Communities can choose from 6-month and 12-month Creative Series for ongoing programming. Recurring programs provide residents with something creative to look forward to each month while making scheduling simple for your team.
How far in advance should we book?
We recommend booking as early as possible, especially for recurring programs. This allows us to reserve your preferred dates and prepare materials specifically for your community.
Can we choose the projects?
Craftly classes are built around a curated selection of projects designed for older adults. For recurring programs, we'll work with your community to make sure the class selections feel appropriate and exciting for your residents.
Where are Craftly classes held?
Craftly is a mobile craft experience, meaning we come to your community! Your team provides an appropriate activity space, and Craftly brings the supplies, instruction, and creative fun.
Do residents need to be "crafty"?
Not at all! That's one of the best things about Craftly. Our goal isn't perfection-it's participation, creativity, and having a good time. Every project is designed so residents can feel successful regardless of their previous crafting experience.
What if a resident needs additional assistance?
Craftly classes are designed to be approachable and hands-on, but residents who require one-on-one assistance may need support from a community team member or caregiver. Craftly is happy to work with your team to make the experience as accessible as possible.
What is your cancellation policy?
Because each class is planned and supplied specifically for your community, cancellation policies apply once a class has been scheduled. We'll discuss the details with your community when your booking is confirmed.
Do you travel outside the Phoenix area?
Craftly is based in the Phoenix area and currently serves senior living communities throughout the surrounding are. If you're outside our normal service area, reach out! We'll be happy to discuss availability and travel options.
